For all the blind and visually impaired, the Association ZAMISLI presented the Braille edition of the cookbook “The gastronomic cooking,” written by Vedran Habel.
Cookbook was released as part of the “Little School of Cooking.” Moderator of the program was the actor and director Mario Kovač, chef Vedran Habel supervised the blind people who have demonstrated some of their skills by making a canape-sandwich to the visitors, while actors Ankica Dobrić and Goran Grič tried to demonstrate their competence in the kitchen.
The overall objective of the project within which was introduced Braille edition of the cookbook, “The gastronomic cooking,” is to encourage people with disabilities to independent cooking and allow the development of cooking skills among people with different impairments.
By adjusting to the Braille letter, all attendees of the cooking workshop to be held in October, November and February, can access the content that is made by the leader and the cook, which is used in secondary schools for tourism and hospitality. The project is financially supported by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
