Blind boy meet his football heroes and impressed them by recognizing them only with touch…
Football club Barcelona invited nine-year old Mamadou Lamine, who has been blind since birth, to meet his idols, which was a boy’s great wish.
Mamadou regularly follows the football games on the radio, despite his handicap. Although he was initially nervous, he soon begin to talk to his heroes. During the meeting, the football players were impressed by the fact that the boy managed to recognize them with his touch, and having spent some time with Messi, Abidal, Puyol, Thiago, Alexis and Xavi, Carlos Naval thoroughly explained everything that takes place in their training.
The boy took home a signed jersey, and his visit is just one in a series that La Fundación FC Barcelona organizes to enable children with disabilities to meet their heroes.
