The first collection of sunglasses Ghetaldus Vintage was created under the creative leadership of the fashion designer Anamarija Brkić (A`Marie) and the creative genius Mauro Massarotto…
These days Ghetaldus has been presenting the remake of its iconic model of sunglasses; this new collection is called Ghetaldus Vintage Season 2013. The original models of sunglasses from the 1960s to the 1980s, under the leadership of creative fashion designers Anamarija Brkić (A`Marie) and the creative genius Mauro Massarotto (Sheriff & Cherry), were given a modernized look with minimal but effective interventions.
Ghetaldus Vintage Collection for the summer of 2013 summarizes an intriguing fashion interpretation of cult Ghetaldus models that have marked the past few decades. The collection consists of 10 models made ??from plastic and wire in various colors and sizes. Plastic models are made by a special technique of injectioning – after numerous and careful processing, the glasses are colored and polished, then finally organic colored lenses with a protective UV coating are implanted into them. Metal sunglass models are made of precious materials known as Alpaca and Monel, i.e. wires made ??of copper, nickel, zinc, iron and other rare elements. Painted and lacquered lenses in metallic models are also organic.
All models of the Vintage collection are handmade and hand painted in the Ghetaldus factory near Zagreb.
Sunglasses are of extremely reasonable price in the range of 400 to 440 kuna, depending on the model.
This collection of sunglasses was among first tried out by local celebrities Nera Stipičević,Mara Bratoš, Jelena Perčin, Nevena Rendeli, Anamarija Asanović and many others.
