Association of Serbian opticians and optometrists is organizing a fair on optics in Belexpocenter from 8th do 10th April this year called Beo-OPTA 2011. For the third time in a row, “Beo-OPTA” will open its doors to interested visitors from 10h to 20h at Belexpocenter, on the address Spanskih boraca 74.
The fair is actually an exhibition, intended primarily for opticians, but the entrance is free for all other interested visitors.
Besides the novelties from the world of optics that visitors will have a chance to see on the stands of exhibitors, on the second day of the fair they will also have the opportunity to learn more through interesting lectures held by renowned professionals.
One of the largest companies in the world for the production of glass for spectacles, French Essilor, will on the second day of the fair starting at 13h present the latest global trends and products available on foreign as well as on the domestic market. A lecture “Toric contact lenses” will be held by a distinguished guest, Dr Endre Raak, an ophthalmologist, a specialist in toric and multifocal lenses with 40 years of working experience. Another expert lecture is scheduled for 16h, when Dr Huntjens Bykl, Professor of City University in London will address the visitors and say a little more about “Refraction errors”. After completion of lectures, an elective assembly of Serbian opticians and optometrists will be held inside Belexpocenter as a part of Beo-OPTA, starting from 18h.
