A doctor from Laguna Beach claims that he can permanently change the color of the eyes with the use of laser, guaranteeing of not impairing vision during the procedure. Doctor Gregg Homer worked on this project for 10 years.
Doctor Homer says that this is possible because people have a blue eyes beneath the surface layer of brown pigment.
‘We use a laser that is tuned to a specific frequency to remove the pigment from the surface of the iris, “says Homer for KTLA. The procedure takes about 20 seconds.
‘When the laser energy absorbs the brown pigment of the eye, the change in pigmentation occurs, then the body tissue changes and brown eyes become blue within two to three weeks. ‘
Brown tissue never regenerates.
Homer says that the tests did not show any signs of tissue damage. He still has one year to complete the research process. The operation will cost about $ 5,000.
Homer says that he is already bombarded with thousands of e-mails and that there is a great expression of interest.
