Perfect Make Up Under the Glasses

Glass lenses deprive glow from the iris, change the shape of eye and shades of the eye shadow. With the help of little tricks that can be easily repaired …

If you are farsighted

Your make up should be discreet. The bigger your dioptre, the lenses have more negative impact on the appearance of the eye – they increase it. Use make up moderately and do not exaggerate with a choice of colors.

  • Give advantage to mat dark eye shadows (color of smoke, soft brown, brown-green) and apply them in a transparent layer in the middle of the upper eyelid, so you’ll make it apparently reduced.
  •  With gray kajal pencil draw a line along the edge of the lower eyelid.
  • On the lashes apply a thin layer of black or brown mascara, very carefully apply mascara at the base, do not exaggerate on the peaks of eyelashes – they should not be too bold and elongated.

If you are nearsighted

Emphasize the airy look. Glass lenses for correcting myopia reduce the eyes and deprive glow from the iris. With the help of the eye shadows you can increase the eye and make your look seem lively.

  • The best choice is a pencil with intense color (gray-blue, gray-green) that you will use to draw a border around the eyelashes. Pull the line along only two thirds of the outer edge of the lower eyelid so that it is stronger, thicker toward the outer corner of the eye.
  • Above the line, with point movements use an eye shadow to soften the line of the pencil. Avoid pearly shades, use velvet or mat.
  • Give glow to your irises by applying eye shadow to the upper lid with colors in harmony with the natural eye color: for blue eyes, orange shades, for green eyes, pinkish-brown, and for brown eyes, delicate shades of purple.
  • Under the eyebrows arch, apply a little pearly white shade that will appeal to light.
  • Increase the eye with a line of white or bluish kajal pencil along the inner edge of the lower eyelid.
  • On the lashes, apply two coats of black or brown mascara; try to lengthen the lashes towards the temples – in that way it will increase the look.
