Of all the muscles in the body, those six who control the movements of the eye may be the most active and most accurate. Even when the body is idle – even when sleeping – the eye is in the constant movement. In honor of this most sportive organ, Prada and Luxottica Group in Athens for the first time presented Linea Rossa Optical Collection…
Following the development of technologies in sports equipment, a new collection is made on the existing Linea Rossa Sun Collection. The design uses the active sports features such as advanced materials, rubber washers for the nose and the ends of handles that are behind the ears for a perfect grip and comfort. The collection is easy bearing, a simple and informal.
The informal nature of the collection is enhanced with powder army green color, color of stone and dark brown, and black, white and red with brilliant half-limpid acetata in red, blue, green, brown and opal color.
Concept of event, that was started in New York agency, “2×4” in collaboration with Prada, is based on the exhibition of 60dolls, in identical section (Uniform), which carry the glasses with a diopter displaying the stylistic diversity Linea Rossa Optical Collection (Vision). As a visual supplement of presentation, operational video-installation on a series of screens that show different visual materials and optical devices defiant vision, focus and color perception, are designed to treat each eye good practice. Music for the event was prepared by Frederic Sanchez.
Prada Linea Rossa Optical Collection consists of the following models:
VPSS05A
This model develops technology for the typical high-quality adhered sports sunglasses. Frame is double injection molded plastic and rubber in the same mold. Opened for ventilation against mog located on the upper edge, make a solid, but at the same time very light structure, ensuring a firm and comfortable wearing.
VPS04A
This sleek, simple model consists of a thin metal wire that “runs” a series of full-length handles glasses, as well as recognizable Prada red tape. Fresh palette of semi-transparent colors include red, green, blue and brown.
VPS03A
Light, original box, made of acetat obverse, the sleek metal handles with narrow integrated flex joints and regions with handles inside made of rubber.
VPS54A
Extra-light, metal model in various colors. These glasses without frames consist of 3 parts joined by screws and plastic tops and rubber handles.
VPS06A
Sport model with injected framework of nylon holding boxes. Striped metallic detail handles separates the two-colored glasses. Unique variations of colors including black obverse with a red or orange handles and a courageous white, red or orange obverse with black handles. It is also available a little less stressed black version.
